Yes, he was an elderly gentleman, but very approachable. Or maybe that’s me as I don’t have a problem talking about my body with a trained professional. My new OBGYN is also great, but Dr K. will always stay in my best memories of having my first two kids.

I guess when it comes to talking about “privates”….some people get….well, private. But, in today’s day and age we should feel comfortable talking about everything. It’s an era of information and knowledge and we should embrace it!

I hate to hear how many women leave their docs with their questions unanswered. I’m sure some of my patients have left confused too. Too often, we’re post call after working 72 hour shifts and it’s all we can do to get through the day, much less remember to ask a postpartum woman how her sex life is going.

I guess this book is my penance for all those women I’m sure to have failed in my 15 years of doing this. I’m glad you enjoyed what you read so far.

Now, back to writing! Onward!
